Mr. Kofi Murah is an accomplished Accountant and Human Resource Strategist with over 29 years of experience in public and private sector financial management, corporate accounting, payroll administration, and strategic planning. He has a proven record of establishing strong financial systems, enhancing internal controls, and leading organizational reforms that drive accountability and productivity.
He currently serves with the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA), where he has led key initiatives including the revision of the Chart of Accounts, ERP system implementation, financial capacity building, and streamlining procurement and payment processes to ensure compliance and value-for-money outcomes.
Educational Qualifications
Mr. Murah holds an MSc. in Management and Human Resource Strategy (KNUST), an MBA in Finance (Coventry University, UK), and a Bachelor of Commerce (University of Cape Coast). He has also undertaken advanced professional training in Port Management (UNCTAD), Project Management (Israel), and Corporate Finance & Treasury Management.
